Android Email Set-Up

NOTE: These steps and how they appear may differ depending on your operating system/version and theme.

1. Select the standard Email icon. Your phone may have been set up with another provider like Gmail, but you need to select the standard Email app instead.

2. If this is your first time setting up email, you'll see a screen with default set-up options. Choose Other.

3. Enter the email address associated with your Webmail Mailbox and password. Click Next.

4. Choose your account type. We recommend IMAP. Click Next.

5. The next screen should be for your Incoming server settings. Please read this step carefully as this screen may differ depending on your software version.

Enter the following information for these fields:

  • IMAP 4 Server: mail.b.hostedemail.com
  • Security Type: Off/none
  • Port number: 143
  • (if) Email address: The email address associated with your Webmail Mailbox
  • (if) Username: The email address associated with your Webmail Mailbox
  • Password: The password that was created when setting up the mailbox created through Vistaprint Webmail

Click Next.

6. The next screen should be for your Outgoing server settings. Please read this step carefully as this screen may differ depending on your software version.

Enter the following information for these fields:

  • SMTP server: mail.b.hostedemail.com
  • Security type: Off/none
  • Port number: 587
  • Require sign in selected
  • Username: The email address associated with your Webmail Mailbox
  • Password: The password that was created when setting up the mailbox created through Vistaprint Webmail

Click Next.

7. Depending on your version, you may be asked to configure additional settings such as email sync interval and attachment download options. How you configure these settings is up to you. Or, your next screen may include a 'connecting to server' message.

Once successful, click Next.

8. Enter account name.

Click Done.

Once the settings are verified, your account is active and ready to use.

To test your new email account, go to the Email app and try sending and receiving emails.
