I am a tax exempt customer and/or a reseller. How do I collect a refund for the taxes I paid?

Tax-exempt/reseller customers that qualify for an exemption from sales tax may request a refund for any sales tax paid on their orders.

  1. To qualify for exemption, a tax-exempt/reseller customer will need to provide VistaPrint customer service with the receipt received at the end of the order and proof of tax-exempt status (e.g. exemption certificate or equivalent proof of exempt status) to request a refund of the sales tax paid.
Some states require completed Vendor/Seller details to be added to the certificates. This should include our information:
    VistaPrint
275 Wyman Street, Waltham MA 02451
  2. Please email ExemptSalesTax@vista.com the requested exemption information to initiate the sales tax refund process.
Customers are required to send an uneditable copy of their certificate. If the certificate is editable a new request must be submitted.
  3. Once the tax-exempt documentation has been approved, you are not required to submit it again for subsequent orders until such time as the documentation expires.
